Minoura was found in 1933 as the bicycle luggage rack and kickstand manufacturer.
In 1985, we developed the world-first bicycle maintenance stand "W-1". And in 1989, we developed the world-first magnetic type indoor bicycle trainer "Magturbo".

Both categories were yet only for the professional people at that time, and they were not available for consumers. We didn't just copy the existing product but we developed them by ourselves to open the door for consumers to make the bike life more enjoyable.
Since then, we have been expanding the range from small accessory to large staff by our own development power.

1933年(昭和8年)に荷台・スタンドのメーカーとして設立。
1985年(昭和60年)に世界で最初の一般向けワークスタンド(自転車整備台)「W-1」を， そして1989年(平成元年)にはこれも世界で最初の永久磁石を利用したトレーナー(室内練習機)「マグターボ」を開発し発売。

いずれも当時はまだ一部のプロライダーやプロメカニック用のものでしかなかったこれらのカテゴリーを，安直に誰かのコピーをすることなく自らの手で開発することで一般ユーザ向けに扉を開いたメーカー。それが弊社です。
それ以来弊社は着々とその生産品目を広げ，今や小さなアクセサリから大型商品まで，すべて自社開発のスタンスを崩すことなく創り出し生産しています。
